Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Resvia you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "the restaurant") and the operators of Resvia ("Resvia", "we", "us", or "our").
2. The service
Resvia provides cloud-based restaurant booking management software, including table management, online booking widgets, guest management, and related features, on a subscription basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.
3. Account registration
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Subscriptions are charged in advance on a monthly basis. All prices are listed in GBP and are exclusive of VAT where applicable. You authorise us to charge your payment method on the applicable billing date. Failure to pay may result in suspension of your account. You may cancel at any time via your billing settings — your access continues until the end of the current paid period. No refunds are issued for partial months or unused time.
5. Free trial
We offer a free trial period as stated on our pricing page. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, you must subscribe to continue using the platform. Trial accounts that are not upgraded will be suspended.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use Resvia to: collect fraudulent or false bookings; send unsolicited communications to guests; violate any applicable law or regulation; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform; or use the platform in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that breach these terms without refund.
7. Guest data and your responsibilities
When you use Resvia to collect booking information from your guests, you act as the data controller for that guest data under applicable data protection law (including UK GDPR). You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to collect and process guest data, providing guests with appropriate privacy notices, and complying with any requests from guests to access or delete their data. Resvia acts as a data processor on your behalf for this data.
8. Our data processing
Our collection and use of your account and usage data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in the Resvia platform, including software, design, and content, are owned by or licensed to us. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in the platform other than a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your internal business purposes during your subscription.
10. Liability
The platform is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption arising out of your use of the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
